The 19th annual Pennsylvania Arts and Crafts Christmas Festival is scheduled to take place over two weekends this October in the city of Washington. It is a production of Family Festivals Association, Inc. and has been named the number one Christmas show in Pennsylvania by Sunshine Artist Magazine.

The festival is going to feature in excess of 230 vendor booths spread over six heated buildings. Vendors are expected to be selling such items as paintings, toys, dolls, stained glass, crafts, and Christmas decorations. There will also be food for purchase or sampling, together with music from Shelly McCombie. Children will have the opportunity to meet Santa Claus and have their pictures taken with him.

Despite Christmas still being a few months away, many people look forward to getting a head start and it the event should give them the opportunity to find unique and handmade gifts for their friends and family.

It is likely that people from all over Washington County will want to make their way to the show, including those living in nearby McMurray. Local printing companies have no doubt provided items such as posters and flyers to help advertise the popular annual show.

The Pennsylvania Arts and Crafts Christmas Festival is taking place at the Washington County Fairgrounds and Expo Center from October 18 – 20 and October 26 – 27. Admission is $6 for adults, $5.50 for seniors, and $1 for children aged 6 – 12. To learn more about the event call 724-863-4577.
