Peters Township to host Community Day

June 17, 2017 by

Peters Township, a small township located in Pennsylvania, recently announced that it will be hosting its 39th Annual Community Day later this month.

Those who wish to attend Community Day can expect music, food, games, crafts, vendor booths, and special shows and activities for the entire family to do. Some of the people and groups that will be providing entertainment at the event include the one-man band Nick Disanto, visits by people dressed as Beauty and the Beast’s Belle, Batman, and Wonder Woman, and an airbrush tattoo artist. There will also be a magic show and an animal tracks show at the amphitheater at 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. Along with the entertainment, the event will be holding a raffle that will be giving away prizes every five minutes for the entirety of the day.

The event will be taking place on June 24th at Peterswood Park from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Shortly after the event ends, there will also be a fireworks show taking place at Peterswood Park at 9:30 p.m. Due to the limited parking space at Peterswood Park, there will be a shuttle service at Peters Township Middle School in McMurray, Pennsylvania to provide transportation to the event.

The entire schedule for the Peters Township 39th Annual Community Day can be found on the Community Day flyers on the Peters Township website.
