Expo provides important information for parents
February 26, 2014 by Max
Parenting Expo Pittsburgh is taking place over two days this March. It is aimed at parents, caregivers, educators and anyone who works with children.
There will be speakers, vendors, expert advice, and family activities. The topics for discussion are set to include ‘Three paths to early intervention’, ‘Preparing for the birth of a new sibling’, ‘Just Moody, or Something More? 3 Strategies for Understanding & Dealing with Mental Health Issues in Young People’, and ‘Three great money habits parents can teach their children’.
There will also be activities for the children, including face painting, a petting zoo, and a bounce house. Guests can also expect lots of moneysaving coupons, giveaways, goodie packs filled with free samples from local companies and prizes.
Parents from all over the area, including nearby McMurray, will probably want to attend this informational event. It is possible that local printing companies have been asked to help provide the coupons and promotional items that are to be handed out during the event, as well as such marketing materials as flyers.
The Parenting Expo will be held at the Monroeville Convention Center from March 8 to 9 beginning at 10:00 am each day. Admission is $8 in advance and $10 at the door, although children aged 12 and under are admitted free. Contact Cindy Stevens at 330-777-1030 for more information.
