Celebrate Peters Township Community Day

The 34th annual Peters Township Community Day will take place at Peterswood Park in Venetia on June 30 from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm, with fireworks to be displayed at 9:30 pm. This is a free event with limited parking but there is a free shuttle bus from Bower Hill and the Middle School.

There will be plenty of food for sale, along with entertainment from artists such as Paul’s A Train, raffle drawings every five minutes, musical entertainment, an airbrush tattoo artist, a wandering bag piper, a caricature artist, and several carnival games. Local vendors will also be in attendance to showcase and sell their latest products or services. It’s also likely that among those vendors will be non-profit organizations who wish the inform the public about what they have to offer the community. All in all, Peters Township Community Day has something to offer to everyone.

Residents from all over Peters Township, including those in nearby McMurray, are bound to be looking forward to this annual family-friendly event. Local printing companies will probably be providing assistance to the organizers of the event in the way of banner printing services, raffle ticket printing, and poster printing services to advertize Community Day.

Events like this help to make a town or a county seem like more of a community. It is a perfect opportunity for neighbors to meet, for local companies to make themselves known to the community at large, and for everyone to forget about their troubles for one day and just have fun.
