Allegheny Sport, Travel and Outdoor Show to be held in Monroeville

January 31, 2013 by

The time between February and April is a time when many communities nationwide hold outdoor shows; mostly because many people can’t wait for winter to be over and want to get back to fishing, boating and many other warm-weather outdoor activities. The Allegheny Sport, Travel and Outdoor show has something to offer to everyone who is interested in the world of sport and leisure.

The show will feature seminars by experts, visits from celebrity guests, the Wild World of Animals – which will feature exotic animals such as scorpions, wallabies, leopards, pythons, and birds of prey – and a wide variety of commercial vendors. Vendors will be selling and exhibiting such items as boats, ATVs, trucks, fishing accessories, hunting outfits and accessories, and vacation packages. No doubt each member of the family will find something to appeal to their tastes at the show. It will be a great opportunity to view the latest boat models, to discover new fishing lures, to find a hunting lodge in which to spend the holidays, and to learn some new skills. The show draws people from all over the area, including McMurray. It’s very likely local printing companies are providing promotional items such as flyers and posters to the organizers to help spread the word.

The 28th annual Allegheny Sport, Travel and Outdoor Show will take place at the Monroeville Convention Center from February 13-17. Tickets are $10 for those aged 13 and up. For more information call 1-800-600-0307.
