A Symphony of Food comes to Pittsburgh

December 31, 2012 by

The city of Pittsburgh offers many opportunities to enjoy great food – something seen by many Americans as a hobby rather than a necessity. One such opportunity is the annual Symphony of Food. This annual event is likely to attract guests from all over, including McMurray, and local printing companies will no doubt be helping to get the word out by providing flyer printing services.

The event is presented by the Women of Southwest PA – an organization that raises funds for women’s and children’s charities. The evening will be a feast of fun for people who are always looking to try out new culinary experiences. It will feature food from such chefs as John Gruver, Al Collins, and Athena Sarris, musical entertainment from the South City Jazz Band, comedy, a juggler, and a silent auction. The emcee of the event will be Sally Wiggin from WTAE. It is likely to be a fun evening and the fact it will help provide services for women and children is sure to make it even more enjoyable. Women of Southwest PA considers this event its major fundraising event and it allows them to distribute funds to less fortunate women and children.

The 6th annual Symphony of Food and Chef’s Showcase will take place at the Bella Sera Venue on January 25 beginning at 6:00 pm. Tickets are $100 per person or $1,500 for a corporate table of 12. Those at the corporate table will receive wine and gifts. For more information, call 724-514-7176.
