Toast the Female Business Leader of the Year

April 3, 2012 by

The annual Women-in-Business Dinner of the Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry will be held at Concord Country Club in West Chester on April 26th from 5:30-9pm. Tickets are $85 for Chamber members, and $100 for non-members.

The keynote speaker for the event will be Rosemary Turner of UPS and the 2012 Female Business Leader of the Year award will be given to Joan Walsh of Kashbox Coaching. The award is given to a woman who has shown iniatives within the community, achieved professionally and shown leadership for other women in business.

Women business leaders from all over Chester County, including from nearby Malvern, are most likely looking forward to this annual event. It is a chance to network with their female business peers and to discover many new businesses, company contacts, and possible friends. Business card printing is recommended, as it is for all networking events. It is a social event but there will no doubt be chances to pass a business card to the women you are sitting with at dinner. If a woman can practice and perfect her “elevator pitch”, she will find that she can pass her card onto several women during a short period of time. Similarly, it may be advisable to place an order for flyer printing with a local print shop, which you could take and distribute at the event.

There are several sponsorships available from $900-$2500, as well as program advertising opportunities for $100, $175 and $300. A corporate table can be purchased for $500 for a table of four and $1000 for a table of eight; the company name will be displayed on the table.
