Second Malvern Festival of the year taking place this September

August 22, 2013 by

The Malvern Harvest Family Festival is returning to the city this September. The festival now includes Bark in the Park.

The festival is a presentation of the Malvern Business and Professional Association. It will feature plenty of family-friendly fun, including the KidZone – which will be filled with children’s activities and games, musical entertainment, and food. There will also be traditional fall activities such as hay rides, and there will be pumpkins galore. Over 150 vendors will also be on site, and will represent a large number of Malvern businesses.

There will also be lots of activities for those who bring their dogs, including games and contests. Animal rescue organizations will be providing information and showcasing pets available for adoption.

The festival is expected to be a great way to welcome the new season while celebrating with the family.

The deadline for vendors to apply to take part in the festival is September 15. They can rent a 10×10 foot space – $100 for crafts and commercial businesses, $50 for non-profit organizations, and free for members of the Malvern Business and Professional Association. It’s likely many of them will be working with local printing companies to prepare their booths for the festival; this might include investing in services such as sign and banner printing.

The Malvern Harvest Family Festival and Bark in the Park will take place at Burke Park on September 29 from 11:00am – 4:00pm. For more information or to apply to become a vendor, call 484-321-3235.
