For anybody who loves to show off their cars or what they can do, two upcoming events in the Malvern area should provide some full speed ahead enjoyment.
The first event is the East Whiteland Annual Fall Car Show, which benefits the East Whiteland Volunteer Fire Company and the Chester County Hero Fund. There is room for more than 300 cars and motorcycles to participate in the show, and all participants will receive dash plaques and can compete for trophies. There will also be food for sale and a 50-50 drawing.
A total of 16 vehicle classes will be eligible for trophies such as Best in Show and Ladies Choice. The Chester County Hero Fund helps police officers, firemen, and other front line responders who have been injured in the line of duty, while also aiding the families of those killed.
The Fall Car Show will take place at the Show Grounds on October 6 from 2:00 – 6:00 PM. Car registration costs $8.
Later in October, gearheads might want to take part in the 7th annual Rally ‘Round the Races in Chadds Ford. The event is hosted by the Radnor Hunt Race Committee. Participants take part in a rally and scavenger hunt for prizes. Fees are $150 for each car, which includes luncheon for four.
This event be held at the Brandywine River Museum on October 13. For more information call 610-388-8314.
Malvern printing companies have no doubt been asked to assist the organizers of the car show in making preparations. This might include banners to advertise the event in the community.
