The Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry is presenting a 2-part seminar series entitled “How to Manage your Time in 2012” on February 3 and February 22 from 8-10 am. Tickets for both parts are $65 for Chamber members and $100 for non-members.

Those who attend will be presented with the tools to manage their time more effectively. These tools include delegation and communications skills, learning how to make the work flow more smoothly, how to overcome challenges and how to make your workforce more effective. The seminars will also help you to develop a healthy work-life balance.

Sometimes there doesn’t seem to be enough time in the day to get everything you need done. That is true in both life and in business. Of course, in business you need to manage your time effectively or you will lose money. Some suggest that writing everything down and making lists helps you handle your time effectively. An agenda is a good first step to get control of your time and to handle it effectively; printing companies in Malvern could provide an individualized agenda for any businesses.

The Mayo Clinic has some tips for achieving a good work-life balance:

  • Plan each day
  • Prioritize
  • Learn to say no
  • Delegate
  • Take your time to do a good job
  • Break large jobs into smaller tasks
  • Evaluate how you spend your time
  • Make sure you are well rested – take breaks when they are needed

These tips should help you lessen any stress you experience because of time management issues.
