Help the animals and have fun

The Mutter’s Day Fashion Show and Luncheon will take place at the Priory, Grand Ballroom on April 29 beginning at 11:30am. Tickets are available at $60 or $100; those who purchase the more expensive tickets will be mentioned in the accompanying booklet. All proceeds go to support the Animal Rescue League of Western Pennsylvania.
Those who attend the event will have a choice of lunch and will receive free valet parking. There will be lots of chances to shop, to enjoy fashion shows, and to take part in a silent auction. Most likely, companies from the Pittsburgh area, including Leechburg, will be donating items to the silent auction. Local brochure printers will be doing their part to make the event a success by creating the program booklet.
The fashion shows will include “Canine fashions featuring ARL alumni dogs” and “Women’s fashions by Carabella.” Companies that cater to dogs, cats, and their owners will be selling some of their items at the event. This will include animal clothing, dog and cat foods, toys, carriers, beds, and treats. It will also include items for owners, such as t-shirts featuring an animal, pet insurance, cleaning products, and other animal-related accessories.
The Animal Rescue League of Western Pennsylvania is considered
“a resource for adoption, foster homes, veterinary care, behavioral training, and animal welfare advocacy.”
They also accept all animals in need of a home, regardless of age or health. Animals are often the last thing people think about but they need organizations that care about their welfare.
