Small Business University to help educate business leaders
January 30, 2013 by Mark
The PennSuburban Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Committee is presenting the Small Business University later this week – an event which features several seminars on how to succeed in today’s business climate.
The keynote speaker for the event will be Bob Babb of the Physical Therapy and Wellness Institute. After the keynote address, those attending will have the opportunity to choose one seminar from each of two sessions. Topics which are to be covered include ‘Change and thrive in 2013’, ‘Targeted branding: four simple steps to identifying your brand’, ‘Social media: maximizing benefit, maximizing risk’ and ‘Propelling your business plan into action.’ There will no doubt be a seminar to appeal to every level of business experience.
This event is sure to bring out business leaders from all over the area, including nearby Lansdale. It will also be a good networking opportunity and it seems likely that many attending will be arranging for business card printing beforehand. Poor quality, worn, or out-of-date cards can only leave business peers disappointed or disinterested, so those business professionals who make sure their details are up-to-date are likely to be the ones who reap the rewards.
Small Business University will take place at the Peter Brecker Community Center in Harleysville this Friday, February 1, from 7:30 am – 12:00 pm. Tickets are $30 for chamber members plus $15 for another person from the same company, or $45 for non-members and an additional $20 for another work colleague. For more information, call 215-362-9200.
