Dinner and auction will help local equestrian center

The 8th annual silent auction and dinner to support the Ivy Hill Therapeutic Equestrian Center will be held this March in Telford.

Guests can enjoy a reception with appetizers, desserts, a cash bar or non-alcoholic beverages. There will also be a raffle and an auction where they can take home some prizes donated by local businesses or individuals. The event is open to people of all ages. In addition, guests will find out more about the Center and about the programs that it provides to the community.

The Ivy Hill Therapeutic Equestrian Center provides a wide variety of programs to the public including training Special Olympics athletes, therapeutic riding, a summer camp, and various riding competitions. It is open to riders of all ages and abilities.

Local print companies are sometimes asked to help advertise events like this in order to attract guests from the area. For this event, this no doubt includes nearby Lansdale. Flyers or posters are often distributed locally either by direct mail or by being inserted in newspapers.

The silent auction and dinner is taking place at the Indian Valley Country Club on March 8 beginning at 6:00 pm. Tickets are $75 for adults or $25 for children. To find out more about the event, or about the Ivy Hill Therapeutic Equestrian Center, contact Jennifer Ashley at 215-822-2515.
