Celebrate Lansdale Day

May 24, 2012 by

Lansdale Day takes place on the first Saturday in June, so this year it will occur on June 2. Festivities will take place outdoors on Main Street with all proceeds going to local charities. Landsdale Day is a presentation of the Rotary Club of North Penn.

The day features a jury-selected Arts Festival where fine artists, artisans, and crafters are invited to showcase their works. There will also be lots of food, music, entertainment, a new car show, dog agility show, petting zoo, raffle, model railroad display, children’s activities, the YMCA Kugel Ball 5K, and the Community Marketplace. The Marketplace will a hive of activity, featuring local businesses and civic organizations, plus “Pet Alley” which will feature vendors selling pet-related items.

The vendors who take part in the marketplace will most likely be working with Lansdale printing companies, as taking advantage of poster printing and banner printing services will ensure that their vendor booth will attract the attention of those who will be celebrating the day. The annual celebration usually draws over 5,000 visitors, so vendors can not only sell quite a bit of merchandise but they can also make their company name known in the community and grow their local customer base.

Local civic and charitable organizations will also have the chance to highlight their services and needs to a large audience, helping them to raise much-needed money and gain volunteers to help facilitate the smooth operation of the organization. Sponsorships and advertizing opportunities for the event guide book are also available.
