Dance the night way at a charity ball

The Sharon Regional Health System Auxiliary Charity Ball will take place at the Avalon Golf and Country Club in Buhl on April 21st. Tickets are $125 and proceeds go towards supporting the Health System.

The Sharon Regional Health System is Mercer County’s most expansive health system consisting of 17 satellite centers, a 241 bed hospital, and more than 1,800 employees. The Auxiliary, which was founded in 1928 and is made up totally of volunteers, has donated over $1.4 million to the Sharon Regional Health System through fund-raising events such as this.

The Charity Ball will feature fine dining, live music, and dancing. Sponsorships are available for local businesses from the area, including Hermitage and Sharon. Local printing companies will likely be providing the program booklet for the event which will list the names of the sponsors and act as a keepsake for those who attend. By now, local print shops will have been hard at work producing tickets, flyers and poster printing.

There never seems to be enough money for health systems and hospitals to function effectively; new equipment costs a lot and there has to be a good reason to replace equipment that is wearing out or obsolete. Organizations such as the Sharon Regional Health System Auxiliary try their best to raise enough money to cover the short-falls of hospitals and health systems. It is also one organization that people are always willing to help raise money for. We know that one day we all will have some need for medical care and want to ensure that we get the best care possible.
