Tickets now on sale for Hanover snack fest

April 4, 2017 by

Hanover is a town known for its snacks, being home to Snyder’s of Hanover and Utz, and has earned the nickname ‘Snack Food Capital of the World’. To celebrate its spot in the snack food landscape, the town will hold the first ever Snack Town Brewfest in June.

Tickets for the event went on sale on April 1, with prices for tickets range from $10 to $40. A $10 ticket is also known as the ‘Designated Driver’ ticket and is valid for entry and food purchases. General admission tickets are $30 and includes entry, food and samples from breweries and wineries. A VIP ticket is $40 and includes entrance to the festival one hour earlier than general admission tickets.

Organizations putting together big festivals and events can use mailing services to spread the word and encourage people to buy tickets.

The organizers of the snack festival are also using Facebook to build up excitement and share news about the event. The name of a different vendor is revealed on the festival’s Facebook page each day. So far, more than 30 food vendors, wineries, and breweries are participating and 25 of those companies are based in Pennsylvania.

Along with food and drink, there will be a number of musical performances during the event. DJ Breeze-Mon will serve as the emcee of the festival and the band 6 Cents is scheduled to perform.

Doors open at noon for VIP ticket holders and 1:00 pm for general admission tickets. The event is scheduled to go until 5:00 pm on June 24.
