Help to support the Third Street Alliance
February 6, 2012 by James
The Sweet 16 Bistro in support of the Third Street Alliance for Women and Children will take place on February 12 from 5-9 pm. Tickets are $100 per person.
The food at the event will be supplied by Chef Elizabeth Mulrine, the founder of the Bistro celebrations. In addition, there will be musical entertainment, a silent auction, a raffle and guided mansion tours.
Sponsorships are available from $250-$2000; all sponsors are given recognition in any literature produced about the event such as the program. Donations to the auction are also accepted and acknowledged in the program. Patron sponsorships are also available for $116; they sponsor specific programs such as the lunch program, the adopt-a-family holiday program or to provide craft materials. Easton companies who do decide to sponsor this event might find they will receive extra business because of it. Printing companies can help them to further draw attention to it by helping to create a flyer to be sent out to potential and current customers.
The Third Street Alliance provides services to homeless women and children, they offer low-cost child care and provide many fitness classes such as Tai Chi and belly dance; they even offer dog training classes. The organization is obviously a very important one in downtown Easton, its mission is to “provide services to meet the basic needs of individuals and families and provide tools to promote personal development, responsibility and citizenship”. Supporting this worthwhile organization will help Easton to continue to be a caring and dynamic community.
