Doylestown car dealerships gets free toy assembly in gear
December 6, 2013 by Max
To help spread holiday cheer and ease any frustrations that might arise among well-meaning parents, a chain of Doylestown car dealerships is offering to put together children’s toys for the holidays.
Technicians at dealerships that form part of the Thompson Organization will assemble the toys completely free of charge. People can drop off items at the Thompson Lexus, BMW, or Toyota service and parts departments. Other dealerships in the area that are accepting toys include Porsche in Warrington, Audi Warrington, and Thompson Volkswagen.
When dropping of the unassembled toys, people should remember to include the instructions booklet so that the technicians can put the toys together properly. All toys should be dropped off by December 23, and the dealerships will get in touch with customers as soon as they are assembled and ready to go under the tree.
The dealership could promote their toy initiative using flyer printing, and could also consider reaching out to customers who have purchased a vehicle from them in the past by sending a postcard promoting the service.
Along with putting together gifts for customers, the dealerships are also collecting new, unwrapped toys for the Toys for Tots program. Collection boxes can be found at several locations, including the showrooms of the Toyota and BMW dealers, the Lexus and BMW service departments, and the collision center. The dealership will be accepting new toys for donation through Monday, December 9, so there is still time for folks to carry out their acts of generosity this weekend.
