The Delaware County Chamber of Commerce offers many free services to its members who are either just starting a small business or already have an established business. It can often be confusing when running a business and the Chamber sponsors many services that can help.

Membership in the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce ranges from $225 for non-profit, $230 for a one-person business, and up to $2394 for businesses with over 1,000 employees. It is an investment that is well worth your money and you will get it back in services. The Chamber offers members discount on goods and services, workshops and seminars, better access to government and mailing labels. They also offer excellent networking opportunities each month; the Chamber does not offer discounts on business card printing though, that is up to you and it is something you cannot do without, especially if you plan to network with your peers from all over the county including Broomall.

Two of the small business services offered by the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce are the Small Business Advisory Team (SBAT) which offers five hours of help in areas such as marketing and accounting and Service Corps of Retired Executives SCORE which matches experienced and retired business leaders with those just starting out or needing help with things such as business plan writing and record keeping.

Running a small business is hard, especially in tough economic times. Investing a small amount in a Chamber membership will ensure that you get all the help you need to increase the chance that your business will succeed and prosper.
