Downtown Bethlehem will be hosting the 47th annual Fine Art and Craft Show from May 12-13; Mother’s Day weekend. Main Street will be closed off to traffic during the show.

This is a juried art show which will be judged by Isadore LaDuce; artist-in-residence for the event will be Sue Small. Over 80 local and regional artists and crafters will be exhibiting and selling their works over the weekend. There will be many genres of arts and crafts represented including ceramics, pottery, photography, jewelry making and clothing. In addition, there will also be art activities for children to take part in.

Those who wish to showcase their work at the show must submit three digital images of their work; the work must be handcrafted and original works. Those are accepted will be able to rent sales space for $120 plus the cost of a vendor license.

Bethlehem printing companies have likely helped with the creation of the event’s beautiful poster. Any local business looking to raise its profile in the community could take their cue from it, and a reliable local printing company will be able to offer their experience in creating it.

An outdoor art and crafts event seems like a perfect family-friend way to celebrate Mother’s Day and to welcome the coming summer days in downtown Bethlehem. It will also be an opportunity for those in the community to see for themselves the wide of talent that the area has attracted and a great chance to discover a new favorite artist.
