Find out how to use creativity for business success

The Arts and Business Council of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce will be presenting the seminar “How Creativity Works” at the World Café Live on March 20 from 8-10:30 am. Tickets are $40 for chamber members and $45 for non-members.

Jonah Lehrer, author of the book Imagine: How Creativity Works will be presenting the seminar. He will be joined by a panel of professionals including Christopher S. Clark of Fiberlink, Harold Hambrose of Electronic Link, Ria Walsh of SEI and Jerry (Yoram) Wind from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Fellows program. They will be discussing how you can use creativity to improve your chances of business success. Those who attend will also find out the fallacy in the belief that not everyone can be creative, they will learn some secrets of successful collaboration, they will discover how creativity can make your company more productive and how creative thinking can improve communities and create more effective schools.

Jonah Lehrer will be signing copies of his book (which will be offered for sale) at the end of the session. His book, Imagine: How Creativity Works looks at the science of creativity. The book discusses how through “a variety of distinct thought processes that we can all learn to use more effectively.”

This event will also offer a good networking opportunity for business leaders from all over the Philadelphia area including Bala Cynwyd. Make sure that if you are attending to arrange for business card printing in advance so you can hand out your card to those you meet.
