Circles Thai opens third location in Bala Cynwyd
November 1, 2012 by Mark
Circles Contemporary Thai restaurant has done well since it opened its first location in the Newbold neighborhood of South Philadelphia.
The restaurant was named ‘Best of Philly 2011: New Thai’ by readers of ‘Philadelphia’ magazine. It has since opened an additional restaurant in Northern Liberties, Philadelphia. Soon, a third restaurant is expected to join the others.
Circles Thai intends to open its next restaurant at 126 Bala Avenue in Bala Cynwyd. The new restaurant would take over the space from Pa & Pa – a Thai and Vietnamese restaurant that opened in August 2011.
The township of Bala Cynwyd is happy to welcome the new Circles restaurant to the area, according to Heidi Tirjan, the retail coordinator. Circles Thai will offer both dine-in and takeout service, as well as delivery. The restaurant owners are probably still deciding which Bala Cynwyd brochure printers to use to print takeout and delivery menus.
The new restaurant is set to open in this month, though an exact opening date has yet to be set. Tirjan notes that she is not sure how much renovation the space will need to welcome Circles. It is clear that a new sign is needed, at the very least.
Circles Thai blends traditional Thai food with contemporary flavors. The small restaurant chain has done well since it first opened its doors, winning rave reviews from local restaurant critics and customers alike. Bala Cynwyd residents will certainly have something to cheer about if the new restaurant proves to be just as successful.
