Bala Cynwyd welcomes new restaurant

February 1, 2013 by

The expansion of the Bala Cynwyd Shopping Center is complete with the opening of Honeygrow restaurant. The restaurant fills the last vacant spot on the City Avenue side of the shopping center.

With the addition of Honeygrow, hungry shoppers will have the opportunity to enjoy healthy, freshly prepared fast food, which can be a great boost during the cold months of winter. The restaurant is nestled between an AT&T store and a Corner Bakery. Both the bakery and a branch of the Bryn Mawr Trust bank, which is located near Honeygrow in the shopping center, opened last year.

The new Bala Cynwyd location is the second one for Honeygrow. The restaurant also has a location in Center City, Philadelphia. Its new location will be open seven days a week, with hours from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm. Honeygrow is starting out with a staff of 25.

The selection at Honeygrow includes salads, stir fries, and smoothies. Customers can build their own stir fries and salads or choose from combinations created by the restaurant. The restaurant also features a ‘Honey Bar’, which allows customers to drizzle locally produced honeys over fruits, whipped cream, and granola.

To get the word out about the opening, the restaurant might want to make use of Bala Cynwyd banner printing. A large banner displayed on the City Avenue side of the restaurant would alert people driving by to its location. The banner could also provide details on the hours of operation and the types of food offered by the restaurant.
