News of a new pizza place opening might seem like nothing new, but Jules Thin Crust pizza, which recently opened in Ardmore, near Bala Cynwyd, offers a different take on the traditional pizza pie.

Jules Thin Crust pizza uses organic ingredients, as well as those that come from a local source. The pizza restaurant also offers its diners a gluten-free pizza, for people who cannot tolerate the protein found in wheat and other types of grains. This option has been rated by the Gluten Intolerance Group of North America and is safe for people with Celiac disease – a type of auto-immune disorder when the body cannot tolerate gluten.

The Ardmore store opened its doors at the end of April, and business has been very good since the restaurant opened. Lunchtime tends to be very busy for the pizza place, with crowds developing daily. Customers who are in a hurry have the option of placing an order online before arriving at the store. The new location can make use of printing services to provide customers with to-go menus, as well as coupons, to encourage repeat visits.

Along with pizza with a range of toppings, including meat and veg, the Jules Thin Crust Pizza also has a selection of salads. So far at the new location, pizza has been the best seller. Manager Audrey Charnley noted that the number one pizza pick so far has been the Balsamic chicken, Portobello mushrooms, and caramelized onion.

The newest store joins locations in Doylestown, Newtown, and Jenkintown, as well as two stores in California.
