Yonkers to sail into September

August 29, 2012 by

Although local print companies have probably been somewhat active in the promotion of the 2nd Annual All-White Yacht Party Fundraiser and the Labor Day Weekend Midnight Yacht Cruise, it never hurts for Yonkers residents to get a second reminder.

Out of these two dates, the first one is the All-White yachting event due to taking place on September 1. Starting in the evening at 6:30 pm and wrapping up just before midnight at around 11:00 pm, those present at this fundraiser will be able to enjoy a fun-filled evening set to include live entertainment, exquisite food, a stunning look at New York City, and even the chance to do some dancing while supporting an excellent cause in the Nepperhan Community Center. With tickets going for $125, interested individuals will need to act fast if they wish to sign up.

Another occasion coming up quickly is the the Labor Day Weekend Midnight Yacht Cruise, being hosted the day after the fundraiser on September 2. Put simply, this event was put together with the express intent of giving residents a chance to celebrate the holiday in style. With boarding expected to begin at 11:45 pm and with the yacht not coming back to dock until 4:00 am, it goes without saying that those who are interested in putting in an appearance here are sure to have a good time.

With organizers stating that the price of tickets will be rising every day until September 2, however, residents with an eye towards attending the cruise will also want to register as soon as possible.
