New York business networking group to host meet-up at Greenwich Village Country Club

January 23, 2012 by

Less than 30 miles away from Westbury, a business networking event will be held at the Greenwich Village Country Club February 8th, 2012.

Scheduled to begin at 6:00 pm, this Business Networking Group will be giving business owners a chance to interact with one another in a no-pressure environment. With ice breaker events and a qualified guest speaker in Don Gabor of “How to Start a Conversation and Make Friends” fame, this event is going to be both fun and information-filled.

According to organizers, the agenda will progress something like this:

“6:00 – 7:30PM Informal Networking

7:30 – 8:00PM Speaker Don Gabor (In a separate private room – networking continues in the main room) discusses the following:
Breaking the ice

Remembering names

Changing topics

Ending conversations

Working the room

Following up

8:00 – 8:10PM Q & A with the Speaker & Free Raffle Giveaways

8:10 – 10:00PM Continued Informal Networking & Swag Bags”

Assuming the evening unfolds anything like this, there will be at least 2 hours set aside for networking if not more depending on what people opt for during Mr. Gabor’s presentation. With 30 professionals already registered for this occasion, entrepreneurs can’t go wrong looking into the possibility of professional business card printing . It’s not unheard of for this group to have more than 100 people attending its events.

Sitting at a price of $30.00 a head, this is also an affordable event. Featuring an open bar as well as a more relaxed approach to networking, this has all the makings of a constructive evening.
