Belief for Relief to have February fundraiser
January 24, 2012 by James
Belief For Relief is raising awareness and funds through the hosting of its February 12th event called “Businesses Promoting Businesses”.
Belief for Relief is a non-profit organization that’s dedicated to providing help to families that are in need. In the “Community Events” section of Life on Long Island, this charitable group’s advertisement reads as follows:
“Belief For Relief Is A 501c3 Non Profit Charity Whose Mission Is To Provide Monetary Assistance To Families In Financial Distress Because Of Job Loss, Illness Or Some Other Hardship. Belief For Relief Is Promoting A Small Business In Balwin, And The Small Business Is Also Helping Assist The Families That Belief For Relief Is Helping. $10 At The Door Will Entitle You To Free Wine, Cheese, Crackers And Other Snacks. Free Music. Go On Our Web Site For Further Details.” (sic.)
Starting in the afternoon at 1:00 pm and expected to end at roughly 4:00 pm, the Curves Health Club is the chosen location for this year’s fundraiser. If the flyer printing is anything to go by, Belief for Relief’s events has an established history of being fun for all.
One point that’s especially interesting, however, is how the Curves Health Club has been able to promote itself as a partner in this event. By hosting the fundraiser and offering people being one day membership specials, Curves is getting exposure as well as positive publicity.
With a theme like “Better Businesses in Our Local Towns”, however, Baldwin professionals have nothing to lose by chipping in and supporting a worthy cause in Belief for Relief.
