General Meeting being held May 17th
May 9, 2012 by Mark
Hosting both the General Meeting and a Networking Breakfast over the course of the next few weeks, the Syosset Chamber of Commerce is clearly going above and beyond for its members this month.
For local business owners and professionals, the closest event is going to be the Chamber’s General Meeting, which will be taking place May 17th. Beginning at 8:30am and going all the way until 10:00am, those who are planning to be at 516 Americana are in for a treat since the guest speaker will be none other than Nassau County Comptroller George Maragos. With several decades’ worth of managerial experience in the financial sector, Mr. Maragos is just the man for the job of overseeing the county’s budget and working to ensure that there’s accountability. Sitting at just $10 to attend, this is a meeting where Syosset businesspeople will want to be present.
In anticipation of the Networking Breakfasts coming up closer to the end of the month on the 28th, chamber members can’t go wrong getting in touch with a print company that’s willing to provide business card printing ahead of the date. Being held at the Parade Diner as per usual, this two hour event is going to feature great food, an insightful guest speaker, and a chance to get to know other local and nearby professionals.
With registration available through the Syosset Chamber of Commerce, signing up is almost as convenient as the scheduling that has gone into these events. Consider putting in an appearance today.
