Smithtown gets jamming this Sunday

November 27, 2012 by

The Bluegrass Jam at Frank Brush Barn will provide families with an excellent opportunity to come out and enjoy some great traditional Bluegrass music from a group of dedicated Bluegrass Club of Long Island members. This relaxing afternoon provides families with some quality time while enjoying some great music in a natural setting.

The Bluegrass Club of Long Island regularly hosts jam sessions in this area and they are open to everyone to come and enjoy. These sessions are always held at the Frank Brush Barn, which is a renowned historic landmark located in Smithtown. The barn was built back in 1900 by a Smithtown undertaker. At present, it has been converted to act as a community venue with the Smithtown Historical Society operating from within it. The barn is often host to traditional music, dancing performances, and lessons for adults and children throughout the week. This Bluegrass Jam is one of the best in the area and guests will enjoy the finger-snapping, toe-tapping performances as they relax together.

Flyer printing and poster printing were most likely used to advertise and promote this great musical event to residents in this community and the surrounding regions. Admission is free to all and everyone is welcome. The Bluegrass Jam will be occurring on Sunday, December 2, from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Frank Brush Barn located at 211 E. Main Street in Smithtown, New York. For more information about the event or the club, please visit the Long Island Bluegrass website or call 631-265-6768 during business hours.
