Janis Joplin tribute to hit Port Jefferson stage

Amber Ferrari, a talented Janis Joplin tribute performer who has quickly emerged as a major talent, will be on stage this weekend.

The show will be opened by comedian Ike Avelli, who will act as the evening’s MC. Poster printing and flyer printing may have been used to promote this evening performance.

After the audience has chuckled along with Avelli, things will move on to the Ferrari performance. For the first half of the evening, guests will hear music originally by Pat Benatar and Jefferson Airplane, as well as some of her original music.

The second part of the show features the work of Janis Joplin, which will no doubt please fans of hers from the area. This tribute is presented in full costume and the songs will have people reliving their memories of Joplin. According to the event promoters, this performance has made a return to the area thanks to strong demand.

Tickets for this show cost $30 per person. It will be on stage on Saturday, February 22, from 8:00 pm to 10:30 pm at the Theatre Three located at 412 Main Street in Port Jefferson, New York, a short trip from Smithtown.
