Halloween happenings hit Smithtown this month
October 15, 2013 by Mark
The Halloween Spooktacular is set to provide families a great opportunity to get out and join in some Halloween fun with a special trail created for the younger children. Numerous printing services may have been used to create and promote this event to people in this community and the surrounding areas.
The Sweetbriar Annual Spooktacular organizers are taking the opportunity to invite all families to join them and celebrate Halloween dressed in their costumes. There will be a host of fun for everyone in the family, no matter what the age group.
During this event, guests will enjoy a selection of spooky stories, participate in some creepy crafts, travel a ghoulish garden, and enjoy a night time, eerie nature walk. For the younger children, a special ‘Not So Spooky’ trail has been created that will lead them into a fairy tale adventure and a land of Halloween creatures and animals.
All families are reminded to dress appropriately for the weather and to bring a camera and a flashlight. The Sweetbriar Nature Center is situated on 54 acres of land and has hundreds of species of animals and plants waiting to be seen.
The cost to join in is $5 for the first person and $2 per additional person. The Halloween Spooktacular will be taking place on Friday, October 25, from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm at the Sweetbriar Nature Center located at 62 Eckernkamp Drive in Smithtown, New York. To find out more about this event, please visit the Sweetbriar Nature Center website or call the office at 631-976-6344 during regular business hours.
