All about the Fame this weekend
January 23, 2013 by James
Fame, the renowned 1980s musical presentation about a diverse and popular group of students studying their trades at the New York School of the Performing Arts, will be coming to the area this weekend.
Poster printing by local print companies may have been used to promote this fantastic musical to people in this community and the surrounding area. During the prestigious musical production, the students of the New York School for the Performing Arts must learn to deal with a number of difficult issues about prejudice, literacy, sexuality, and self-worth while exploring issues such as drug abuse, to persevere with their studies.
Throughout this performance, there are a number of low periods, as well as many high periods, but the kids who show unwavering determination find greatness that shines through in the performances in which they participate. This inspirational story shows people how to work hard, to be determined, and to conquer their fears as they move forward in life.
Tickets for this event cost $20 and all are welcome, although please note that there are no refunds available on this production once tickets are purchased. The next ‘Fame, the Musical’ performance will take place from this Friday, January 25 to Sunday, January 27 from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm at the Soluna Studio located at 659 Old Willets Path in Hauppauge, New York, a hop down the road from Smithtown.
