Selden Businesspeople have chance to network and learn after the holidays
December 31, 2011 by James
Selden-based professionals will have at least two events to attend after Christmas.
Starting with the Thinkubator on December 26th, 2011, businesspeople based in the tech industry will have a chance to gather with like-minded individuals and discuss the ins and outs of various technological products, companies, and ideas. Scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m., this is also a chance for business owners and other enterprising types to get some networking done as well.
Situated less than 30 miles away from Selden, professionals will be getting a chance to join a group called the ‘Long Island Stock Traders’ on January 10th, 2012. Typically gathering at the Plainview Library each month to discuss day and swing trading strategies as well as possibilities for the foreign exchange, this group takes an “out of the box” approach to the stock market.
This upcoming event will feature two accomplished individuals in Michael Katsidras and Steve Longo. As is par for the course at these events, professionals at all trading levels will be present to hear these experts speak. For his part, Mr. Katsidras’ presentation is expected to center around the importance of timing during transactions. Meantime, Mr. Longo will be slowing things down a bit and discussing the potential applications of Guaranteed Future Income Annuities for pension planners.
Between these speakers and the value of the information they’ll be conveying, this is yet another event that Selden professionals can attend with business card printing in hand.
Whether going to the Long Island Stock Traders meeting or opting for Thinkubator, businesspeople can take control of their networking right away.
