July starts with market and craft fair

Residents and entrepreneurs in Schenectady have quite a bit to plan, with a ribbon-cutting coming up near the end of June and another Flea Market taking place in early July.

If the calendar is anything to go by, the Schenectady County Chamber of Commerce has quite a few ribbon-cuttings taking place in June and July. In the case of DeLitefull CrEATionS, the big day is slated for June 28. Being held in Schenectady’s downtown area at 11:00 am, this is a great opportunity for members of the local business community to show their support for a new company. Expected to last just half an hour, this is an event worth keeping an eye on.

At this point, there is probably a sizable number of residents who are looking forward to the next Downtown Flea Market & Craft Fair on July 1. Featuring a wide selection of items for sale, which include art, antiques, jewelry, and books among other things, the fact that this one takes place near the Schenectady Greenmarket is something that counts for a lot since shoppers from the farmers’ market have been known to drop by.

In short, residents can look forward to a number of good deals, while vendors and sellers make a few extra sales. With organizers still accepting new merchants for the fair, Schenectady business owners stand to gain quite a bit from participating here as well. Even if a sale is not made right away, custom flyer printing or poster printing can go a long way in this environment.
