RVC set for Long Island Restaurant Week

November 4, 2013 by

The 2013 Long Island Restaurant Week got under way this weekend, with many Rockville Centre restaurants joining in with the extravaganza.

Now in its 10th year, the popular event has taken the whole of L.I. and its residents by storm, with many people treating themselves out to a bargain meal.

With some of Long Island’s very best restaurants offering prix fixe meals at under $30, it is little surprise.

Many of these will be full three course meals too; making real value for money for families and friends.

The event, started by an L.I. public relations firm back in 2003, now sees somewhere in the region of 200 restaurants taking part. From small beginnings in the East End, the event continues to go from strength to strength.

With a number of great offers across the region, local printing companies have likely been busy getting menus, offers, flyers, and leaflets printed up.

With the holiday period now fast approaching too, it is an ideal time for local restaurants to push themselves too. There are also plenty of RVC eateries to which folks can go if they do not want to travel too far afield.

For a flavour of France, Aperitif Bistro should be just the ticket, while a taste of Italy is available at Dodici. Good old all-American eats are available too, from Chadwicks American Chop House & Bar, George Martin, and Grillfire.

Every outlet taking part in the event will be offering a deal from right now through Sunday, November 10, when the week ends.
