Older citizens in and around Rockville are being urged to make 2013 the year where they sort their particulars and get up and go, with a host of events and activities being arranged throughout Nassau County.

It is likely that leaflet printing and poster printing has been making people aware of the events for some time now. One such activity which will prove popular for many folks is the Stretch & Flex program.

This is being hosted by the Freeport Senior Community Center, which is also a great place to head for other events throughout the month of January and the year ahead.

One highlight in particular takes place at the end of this month though. An Island Cruise Themed Party is being put on, promising to be something a lot different from what is usually organized, while still celebrating the wonderful local sights.

For those looking to head further outside, The Bay City Ramblers are also putting in a record number of events through 2013.

Rockville Centre‘s seniors will also be spoiled for choice from other providers in the area, whilst January also sees the Nassau County Bar Association (NCBA) help seniors with more mundane affairs.

Once again running its Free Legal Consultation Clinic for Seniors, the NCBA welcomes anyone aged 65 or older. Private 30-minute consultations are offered for anyone, with no limit on what legal matters are discussed.

Whether looking to get ahead of finances or other legal issues, or simply looking to find a new way to relax, there is much going on for Nassau folks this year.
