Chamber to host luncheon July 26

With an Exhibit Grand Opening, a Chamber-hosted luncheon, and an educational presentation by the Science Center for Science Teaching and Learning, there are a number of dates for Rockville Centre residents to be keeping an eye out for this month.

Those who love art have plenty to look forward to with a brand new Exhibit set to open tomorrow, July 21. Events kick off at the very reasonable hour of 11:00 am as the Nassau County Museum of Art presents Marc Chagall’s artwork. Since entrance fees will apparently cost just $10, there is definitely something to be said for giving this option a try.

Following up a few days later, on July 26, the Rockville Centre Chamber of Commerce will be hosting an ‘Informal Member Lunch.’ Going through regular lunch hour with a start time of 12:30 pm, this no-obligation meet-up is a fantastic opportunity to renew old acquaintances while also making new friends. Although the atmosphere might well be rather low-key, business owners should still consider discussing business card printing with a local print company ahead of time.

Two days afterwards, on July 28, the Center for Science Teaching and Learning will be presenting ‘The Dirt About Dirt.’ Starting at 11:00 am, this mini-workshop looks to teach kids about soil and is expected to use water to do it.

Whether an individual is looking for a great time with the kids, a chance to soak in some fantastic art, or is instead hoping to pick up a few professional contacts, there will be an event going on that can meet each need.
