The Rochester Business Alliance is giving business owners a unique opportunity to gain more professional contacts through a speed networking event on the 26th.
Hosted by Business After Hours, these speed networking events are designed with the goal of making it easier for members of the business community to establish relationships with one another. According to the site, this event is essentially:
“Networking made easy. Don’t let the idea of networking intimidate you. Speed networking offers a twist on the typical meet-and-greet, an organized succession of brief conversations among participants that allows you to talk briefly with 20 or more people over the course of the evening. Participants should bring a stack of their own business cards and be prepared with a brief pitch about yourself and your business. Limit of two employees from a company: space is limited. Participants must be present at the entire event.”
Since these interactions are going to be brief, those planning to be at this event will need to come with plenty of business card printing to spare.
Starting at 5:00 pm and projected to end at around 7:00pm, this is an event that’s been planned with people’s schedules in mind. Members will be able to pay a low rate of $10.00 to attend while non-members can expect to be charged $50.00 for entrance.
People typically go to these meetings to pursue their networking goals. With this gathering taking place on the 26th, there’s no question that the Rochester Business Alliance has put together yet another event worth attending.
