RBA talking human resources

In keeping with its already established custom of putting on practical workshops and other useful events for business owners, the Rochester Business Alliance looks to start the month of April strong with an emphasis on human resources and technology.

With “HR Effectiveness” taking place on the 2nd April, business owners are being given a prime opportunity to sit in for a half-day session covering the fundamentals of what human resources is all about. Just a few of the topics being discussed include networking, employee assessment, the Internet and what it has to offer, and even the process of auditing.

Starting at 1:00pm and going until 5:00pm, this is an informative seminar that attendees will have to plan ahead for. Sitting at a price of $125 for members, and $165 for those who aren’t a part of the Rochester Business Alliance, the advantages of being here are definitely visible.

One of the next events on the calendar is a Microsoft Office-centered workshop. Whether coming up with a design for an upcoming flyer printing campaign or instead putting together a presentation for that dream client, an Office application is likely being used in your business at some point. The topic for the session taking place on both April 3rd and 5th is going to be Excel. Primarily, a dependable means of making it easy to keep track of information, this seminar will give professionals all the information they needed to maximize what Excel has to offer.

With all this happening less than ten days into April, it becomes clear that the RBA is showing no signs of slowing down.
