RBA offers networking lunch and workshops

With the information-filled workshops and networking opportunities available to local professionals, it’s clear that the Rochester Business Alliance has done an admirable job of putting a balanced schedule together.

The calendar starts with “Disney’s Approach to Leadership Excellence” on March 28th. Operating from the assumption that the success of an organization is dependent on its leadership, this all day seminar looks to show business owners and professionals how being an excellent leader can make a difference to the company’s bottom line. With the Disney Institute presenting, attendees can come out and learn about managing an organization the “Disney” way.

The following day, Rochester Business Alliance members will have the option of coming together from noon until 1:00pm as part of ConnectForLunch. With members coming together from throughout the city for this one, business card printing will be necessary to network and connect with other businesses. In light of the fact that there are no attendance requirements for this, business owners can attend whenever it suits them. All in all, it’s a great opportunity to meet other entrepreneurs and professionals.

Right after this on March 30th, there will be a members-only meeting where attendees will be talking about the new regulations being implemented by the National Labor Relations Board. Starting at 8:00am, this hour long session will discuss what these changes mean and how businesses can be prepared when these changes take effect next month.

No matter what members of Rochester’s business community are looking for, the Business Alliance has an appropriate event on the calendar.
