RBA keeps month of June interesting

Although the month is winding down, members of Rochester’s business community still have a number of events to choose from, with two information-rich workshops being held as well as a networking luncheon.

It all kicks off tomorrow, June 21, when “Building Employee Trust During Transition” takes place. As most managers are sure to be aware, change is a basic fact of being in business. Whether there’s a merger on the horizon or simply new moves being made in terms of promotions and pay-raises, employee morale can be a tricky thing to navigate. Starting at 1:00 pm and ending at 4:30 pm, those who attend this workshop will be getting all kinds of practical advice on how to keep employees at their best, regardless of what else is going on. Anyone who would like to register for this workshop is being advised to contact the event organizer.

Where networking is concerned, business professionals will be hard-pressed to find a better option than ConnectForLunch. Allowing both restaurants and individuals a legitimate opportunity to show what they are made of, this is another set of events for which members should be considering making plans. With a fresh order of flyer printing or business card printing in hand, these meet-ups have the potential to be very productive as events.

Things wrap up next week with the Legal Symposium on drug and alcohol testing being held on June 28. With a title like “Can We Really Do That? An Employer’s Guide to Drug Testing,” it is clear that Harris Beach PLLC has an in-depth presentation planned. For potential attendees, online registration is available for this workshop
