CoWorking Rochester to Host Meet-Up December 29th
December 30, 2011 by Mark
Starting at 6:00 p.m., busy professionals and business owners will be able to bring along pet projects or urgent work where they will be free to make progress during the evening. The question of whether or not there’s a public speaker present is currently unconfirmed, but the chance to tie up loose ends will certainly be there. Although a tad unorthodox, the group describes itself this way:
“Coworking Rochester was founded to provide a collaborative, casual workspace for freelancers, business travelers and other professionals – as well as to offer a venue for groups and individuals to collaborate.
This Meetup group is focused on user groups and other events at our space. We host groups that range from web developers sharing knowledge about various programming languages, to authors and book groups, and even host table/board/role-playing gamers. Events are typically held weekday evenings or on weekends, as during business hours the space is configured and focused on members’ working environment…”
With 85 members listed on the group’s page, it’s impossible to predict who is going to show up to this event. As such, participants are better off coming prepared with enough business card printing to go around.
Whether getting input from others or instead opting to go it alone, Rochester professionals who wish to get something productive done following the holidays can easily accomplish their goals here.
