East End Arts Council raising funds through local concert

In recognition of the upcoming Long Island Winterfest, the East End Arts Council has found a way to profit by hosting a kickoff event called “Jazz on the Vine” tomorrow, January 20th.
Scheduled to take place at 6:00 pm, Hotel Indigo is going to be the site of “Jazz on the Vine”. Starting fairly early at 6:00 pm, the flyer printing is already out for this event.
The description that’s been going around with the posters is as follows:
“This event starts the countdown to the highly anticipated 5th Annual Winterfest Jazz on the Vine concert series commencing February 11. The kickoff event will feature a Live at the Indigo jazz jam, with surprise guest performances by this year’s Winterfest headliners.”
With wine and light snacks being a part of this Winterfest Kickoff, those planning to be at this concert won’t be leaving on an empty stomach.
As for the chosen venue, the East End Arts Council couldn’t have chosen better than Hotel Indigo. Between the fresh decorating scheme and its status as a “favorite place to stay” in Riverhead, this location won’t disappoint any lovers of live music.
Interestingly enough, pre-paid tickets are going for $25 while those opting to pay “at the door” can expect to part with $30. Since organizers are allowing concert-goers to buy tickets by phone, at East End Arts, and even online, this event is also accessible.
Although East End Arts Council will be receiving the proceeds, it’s still interesting how they’ve taken the Long Island Winterfest and made it their own.
