The Plaza to square up in Long Island

Port Washington residents who enjoy theater and the works of Neil Simon will have a unique opportunity to see his play Plaza Suite performed this weekend.
The play is three acts long, and each one of its acts features a different set of characters. All of the scenes involve different couples and the unique problems that their relationships face. They are also all set in a hotel suite in the Plaza Hotel in New York City.
Simon was born in The Bronx in New York City and has written a variety of plays and movies set there. Plaza Suite originally opened in 1968 and ran on Broadway until 1970. It closed after 1,097 performances, and it was nominated for several Tony awards, including Best Play and Best Actress. Its director, Mike Nichols, bagged the Tony for Best Director.
The organizers for this production of the play might want to reach out to brochure printing companies that can provide them with programs for the audience. Programs are an important part of any show, as they let the audience members read about the performers and get a rough synopsis of the plot.
This production of Plaza Suite will be held at the Community Church of East Williston on Friday, April 4 and Saturday, April 5 at 8pm. Another performance will take place on Sunday, April 6 at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $15 for general admission and $12 for seniors.
