Business Before Sunrise is a group for Port Washington businesspeople to keep an eye on

Port Washington professionals and entrepreneurs are in luck with the regular meet-ups of the Business Before Sunrise Networking group taking place nearby in Bronx.

Regularly held at the Royal Coach Diner in Bronx, this networking group provides business owners with more than just another opportunity to give out business card printing although that is an important part of the process. Taken from the site:

“We are a Bronx based business and professional networking organization that offers each member the opportunity to share ideas, contacts and referrals. Here you will learn about the benefits of being part of the most cost-effective way of increasing your business – through effective word-of-mouth marketing!…Belonging to our BNI group is like having dozens of sales people working for you because all the other members carry several of your business cards around with them. When they meet someone new who could use your products or services, they hand your card out and recommend your services.” (sic.)

With this simple but effective approach, it certainly appears that the group’s members are getting what they need out of it. One point to watch for with Business Before Sunrise Networking is the one professional per industry rule. Stated clearly on the group’s page, this rule is clearly there to help avoid competition between members.

Having first been established in March of 2009, Business Before Sunrise has been around for a while. Guests are allowed to come but have to contact the organizer for an invitation. Those planning to give this group a try can do so.
