Port Jefferson welcomes Health and Wellness Expo

March 20, 2013 by

The Greater Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce 4th Annual Health and Wellness Expo 2013 will be held exactly a month from today.

The purpose of the expo is to provide Port Jefferson Station residents, as well as those from the greater Port Jefferson area, with important information for their health and wellness.

Several seminars and health screenings will be offered throughout the day. In addition, many vendors will have exhibits, so the community is encouraged to stop by. The event has been in the planning for over three months to ensure the information brought to the residents is timely and useful.

Health professionals will be on hand to bring the latest information on pre-natal matters, birth, early childhood, young adult, adulthood, and senior years. Prevention and detection of disorders and illnesses will be discussed, as well as treatment techniques.

Physical fitness, holistic medicine, and nutrition will be presented at the Expo by various speakers and experts. Many sponsors are participating in the event this year including St. Charles Hospital, Mather Hospital, Times Beacon Record, and Bethpage Federal Credit Union.

Printing services are often contracted to assist with the facilitation of events like the health fair. Exhibitors frequently order banner printing so they can have the banners on the back of their booth or on the front table. They also like to have business cards to hand out to people stopping by their booths.
