Patchogue people spoilt for choice as September ends
September 20, 2012 by James
Saturday, September 29 will be a day dominated by a pair of activities for residents of Patchogue. One is a fundraiser for an important cause, while the other is celebrating St. Liberta, who is the patron saint of dealing with difficult marriages and lost causes.
Whichever event people choose to take part in, both have much to offer. No doubt Patchogue printing companies are helping organizers of both events prepare for September 29. Flyer printing services could ensure that both events are well publicized in the community. Flyers are very inexpensive and are a versatile way to advertise. They can be distributed in various ways such as hand delivery and mail distribution, making them an attractive option.
The 3rd annual Autism Awareness Fundraiser, presented by Team A.U.T.I.S.M, will take place at Off Key Tiki on September 29 from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm, with tickets priced at $10. All funds raised will go to help support Autism Speaks – an advocacy group which raises funds for research and autism awareness in the community. The fundraiser will feature the music of such artists as Andre Jack and Tom Ryan.
The 4th Italian St. Liberta Festival will take place on thr same day from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm. This is a free event sponsored by the Greater Patchogue Foundation Inc. and the Cultural Heritage Committee. It will be an open air street festival which will feature a parade, a kids’ area, music, Italian karaoke, bocce ball, food, and craft vendors.
