Patchogue Chamber Features Hot Deals on Website
December 30, 2011 by Sarah
A cursory glance through the Patchogue Chamber of Commerce website reveals that there are several members promoting themselves by offering goods and services at deeply discounted prices.
First on the list is a chartered professional accountant by the name of John R. Volini. With the simple title ‘Business Start Up Deal’, Mr. Volini draws in recently-minted business owners with the offer of:
“Low Low introductory rates on accounting, tax and business advisory services for all new business start up ventures.”
Since people will rarely change accountants after securing a good one, this deal is one that helps Mr. Volini promote his services while virtually guaranteeing him long-term clients.
Another deal that can be seen on the site is that of the discounts the New York Islanders Hockey Club is providing. The site lists off ‘December Deals’, ‘Christmas Picture Perfect’, and ‘January VIP’ as the packages being offered. When an individual clicks through to the content, it becomes immediately apparent that these deals are full of quality content. Including additional items like autographed memorabilia and restaurant certificates further adds to the value of these ticket packages.
Whether angling to hook prospects into becoming long-standing customers or hoping to generate extra sales by adding more value, it would seem that businesses can use either approach and still be met with success. It’s definitely an interesting thought to keep in mind for future campaigns.
