Luncheon lined up for later this month
March 8, 2014 by Mark
The 11th Annual ‘Think Spring’ Luncheon is being presented by the Patchogue Garden Club in a couple of weeks and includes a meal, live entertainment, and a variety of guest speakers, all ready to move into the Spring season.
The Patchogue Garden Club may have used poster printing and brochure printing to share this annual event with people around the area.
This is an annual fundraising event with all the proceeds benefiting Community Beautification. Suitable for people of all ages, there will be a live musical called ‘Celebrate It’, which marks the 75th anniversary of The Wizard of Oz and is being performed by Joanna Drake and Mark Jeffers on vocals and Christine Atkinson on keyboard.
Guest speakers at this event include Joe Cioffi, who is a meteorologist and will be speaking on tornadoes, and Carol Tvelia, a master gardener who will be talking about growing poppies. During the luncheon there will be door prizes and raffles taking place. The doors open at 10:15am.
Tickets for this event must be reserved by March 18 and cost $37 per person. The luncheon itself will be happening on Thursday, March 27, from 10:15 am to 3:00 pm at the Mediterranean Manor located at 303 East Main Street in East Patchogue, New York.
