Nanuet an integral part of new tourism guide
July 5, 2012 by Mark
Rockland County Executive C. Scott Vanderhoef recently launched a new travel and entertainment guide for the area. The guide contains 50 pages of information on Nanuet and other Rockland County locations, offering a comprehensive guide to all the attractions and events in the smallest county in the New York area. It will include information on parks, hotels, dining options, and cultural performances and is sure to be popular with those considering a vacation in the area. Production of this type of guide requires a printing company with considerable expertise in catalog printing since, every unit requires binding, stapling, and prompt delivery, as well as a professional and attractive appearance.
As an added boost for local enterprise, Mr. Vanderhoef also indicated that free advertising on the Rockland County tourism portal will be available to event organizers, local businesses, and tourist attractions.
Vanderhoef also said:
“We’re proud to offer this new Travel & Entertainment Guide as a promotional vehicle to help market Rockland County in a new and innovative way. The advent of free advertising on the Rockland Tourism website, accomplishes the intention of what the tourism and local development function was always meant to be – a free and invaluable promotional service to Rockland County’s business and arts communities.”
A TV ad campaign will supplement this initiative and help to promote tourism, an industry vital to the local economy, to an extended audience. Local businesses wishing to avail from free website advertising will be processed on a ‘first come, first served basis’ only.
